My little lost earring

Is this all just one big coincidence?

On Monday, I was working on a project calling people in our community inviting them out to an event. Several people on the list were named Toby. Then, on Tuesday I learned the name of the storm out East was called Toby and on Thursday, a new business contact I talked to worked for a firm named TOBE…

The last two books I’ve read were both written by daughters of Pastors.

My husband was talking about our daughter’s lost earrings on Monday. On Wednesday , when I picked up my friend to take her to therapy, she reached up to her ear and realized her earring was missing. About an hour later, I reached up to my ear and realized my earring was missing! ( I think they are all in cahoots and on spring break right now LOL)

On Friday, I was at a conference of a company I work with . There were 1,400 people in attendance, and I didn’t really know anybody. When I sat down, I asked the person next to me what department they worked in, she said “community investment”. That is the department of that company I work with (she was an intern).

Later that day at lunch, I found out that two people I was sitting next to work in the same building as I do. Another person at the table was talking about her daughter’s birthday this week (my daughter’s is too) and how her daughter is getting her ears pierced. (Cue my little lost earring story)

Does this ever happen to you?

Pay attention

Maybe it’s because I’m devoting more time to meditation? My mind is clearer, more focused.

Are these signs? What is the universe trying to tell me? What is the significance?

Whether or not it truly means something, what it is really showing me, is that I am present. I am paying attention to what is going on around me and that is important. When you start paying attention, these little connections turn into larger ones. I am the type of person who is always looking for signs, it’s like real life magic and I am always looking for the magic.
